UNTOLD Dubai is not happening in November. The festival's official website now lists three days — 19, 20 and 21 March 2027 — at Dubai Parks and Resorts, and keeps selling passes.
What happened
The festival's official website announces «UNTOLD Dubai — 19-21 March 2027» and describes the edition as «3 days and nights» at Dubai Parks and Resorts (United Arab Emirates). Checked on 14 October 2026, it keeps selling: the «General Access & VIP – EARLY BIRD» tier starts from 350 dirhams.
Festival Insights reported on 12 October that the edition had been set for 5 to 8 November 2026 at the same venue, and that the festival justifies the four-month delay by saying it will allow it to develop a more ambitious edition and a better experience for fans travelling from the UAE and abroad. According to the same outlet, no artist had been announced for that date; in 2025 the line-up included YUNGBLUD, Swae Lee, J Balvin and Martin Garrix.
EVENTFAQS Middle East published those same dates and that same venue on 7 October, also describing a three-day edition.
There is no trace of the change on untold.ae: the news section only shows posts from the 2025 edition, the press address returns a 404 error, and the FAQs make no mention of the postponement or of passes already bought. We only reviewed the website, not its social media.
Why it matters
A festival shifts its edition by four months with passes still on sale, and the only explanation we've found comes from an industry outlet: there is no statement on the festival's own website. Anyone who bought for November has nowhere to read it there, and we don't know what they've been told through other channels.
This is not a cancellation: there are new dates. Nor is there any announced cut from four days to three; what's verifiable is that the website today says three days, and that Festival Insights describes the original as running from 5 to 8 November.
Outside the UAE, the calendar is shifting too. On 1 October, Saudi promoter MDLBEAST announced that Soundstorm, due to run on 3 and 4 December 2026 at the Banban Grounds in Riyadh, would not take place this year and would return in 2027, giving no reason. That's Saudi Arabia, not the UAE: different markets, with no shared cause on record.
Anyone selling tickets in the UAE already has obligations of its own under way: the country has brought concerts into its music levy from December, and ticket sales carry their own permits and VAT. An edition falling off the calendar is not unusual this year: more than 80 festivals have been cancelled in 2026.
